Mike joined Canada West Land in 2018 and has been influential to our company’s growth. He has over 15 years of experience in land management, primarily in the midstream sector. His expertise is throughout Canada, including Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Ontario, and New Brunswick. His leadership, knowledge, and dedication, paired with his extensive experience with project development and the operations side of the business, have made him an integral part of our organization. Mike holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Calgary and focuses his efforts on strategy development and execution, as well as spearheading the company’s growth. A big proponent of family and fun, Mike’s personal values translate to the culture at Canada West Land. 

Rob has over 16 years of industry experience, working both in-house and on the broker side, and has been with Canada West Land for the past 8 years. He is an essential part of the team as our Director, Operations, where he has been helping clients navigate timelines, resourcing needs, and budgets throughout the project cycles. He has been a key part of our continued and expanded success within British Columbia (BC) and Alberta, while being responsible for the growth and management of our entire BC based team. Rob is focused on client management, corporate operations and growth, culture within the organization, as well as overseeing operations within each of our geographical areas. An avid golfer, Rob never says no to a round and is constantly searching for his next bucket list golf course. 

As one of our longest-standing employees, Melissa has been a fundamental  part of our team for over 18 years. She has made significant contributions by establishing streamlined processes and procedures, leading our information technology (IT) initiative, and providing comprehensive training to our colleagues. Melissa’s aptitude for coordinating administrative teams, regardless of project size, has proven invaluable. Her support extends across multiple divisions within our organization, and she excels in managing client expectations while expertly resolving changes and project challenges. Melissa maintains a close working relationship with our IT and GIS teams, ensuring project efficiencies and accurate task execution. Her primary areas of focus encompass IT, finance, and project controls, along with providing indispensable support to our administrative team. Beyond her professional aspirations, Melissa cherishes her family time and actively plans their upcoming adventures. 

Bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Oil and Gas industry, Greg has been an influential part of our company’s success since joining us in 2019. With over 15 years of progressive experience, Greg has honed his expertise in various areas, including business development, client management, corporate strategy, growth, and diversification. His strategic mindset and ability to cultivate strong relationships has been instrumental in expanding our business and corporate vision while driving our strategic corporate growth. Outside of his professional endeavors, Greg finds joy in travelling and creating cherished memories with his family. You’ll often find him engrossed in activities with his energetic four boys, sharing in the laughter, frustration, stress, and happy moments that come with the joyful chaos of parenting.
